Sunrise Medical Launches the ZIPPIE Q300 M Mini

There’s a new choice in pediatric power wheelchairs.

In a May 9 announcement, Sunrise Medical introduced the ZIPPIE Q300 M Mini, a mid-wheel-drive chair featuring a narrow base and an ultra-low seat height to facilitate kids’ daily adventures.

Jeff Rogers, Sunrise’s Director of Power Product Management, said in the announcement, “We are so excited to now offer pediatric power seating on our most compact power wheelchair base.”

The ZIPPIE Q300 M Mini features a patented, all-wheel independent suspension with a 17-inch turning radius (without footplates) and a seat-to-floor height as low as 17 inches.

The C-Me Seat Elevation option further expands kids’ access to their world by allowing them to drive up to 3 mph while elevated up to 12 inches, without needing to stop while making the transition.

The ZIPPIE Q300 M Mini offers up to 50 degrees of power tilt and is compatible with JAY cushions and backs and WHITMYER head supports.

The power chair is just 20.5 inches wide and 33 inches long (without footplates). Seat widths are 10 to 16 inches; seat depths are 10 to 19 inches.

The ZIPPIE Q300 M Mini has a top speed of 6 mph and an estimated range of up to 17 miles per charge. Its weight capacity is 165 lbs.
