Bret Tracy, MBA, ATP, was introduced as the manufacturer’s new Director of Sales in a May 13 announcement. Tracy, who has 22 years of experience in CRT as well as durable medical equipment, will be responsible for Merits’ four American divisions. He joined Merits in 2017 as its Regional Sales Director for the eastern United States.

Tracy has been active with a range of industry organizations, serving on the board of directors for ALS of Nevada, ALS South Carolina, NAMPS, CAMPS, AZMESA, and the American Association for Homecare’s Rehab Council. The news announcement praised Tracy’s “team-building skills and industry relationships,” and noted, “Bret’s passion for the CRT industry is contagious. He loves advocating for end-user access to CRT [and] he has attended several Washington, D.C., fly-ins.”

In the announcement, Tracy said, “I joined the Merits team in 2017 to help transition the company from DME to CRT. I was at Pride [Mobility Products] when Quantum Rehab was launched. That experience has served me well, as we have launched four rehab power chairs, a seating division, and a stairlift division during my time here. I am excited to oversee the sales launch of our fifth rehab base and fully redesigned power seating system, which will launch at the end of 2022.”
