NSM Expands Canadian Presence

National Seating & Mobility’s (NSM) latest expansion is in Ontario.

In a July 11 announcement, NSM introduced its newest branch office in Barrie, Ontario. Harry Hignett, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the Complex Rehab Technology industry and has served as a regional manager for national CRT companies, has been hired as Barrie’s Branch Manager.

In the announcement, NSM Canada VP of Operations Rick Nori said, “NSM Canada has doubled in size during the last 10 months. This strategic growth of our footprint ensures more people have access to the most advanced mobility and access solutions available. We are proud to welcome Harry to the NSM team and look forward to supporting the branch in assisting individuals in and around the Barrie area in their pursuit of greater independence.”

“I joined NSM because of the opportunity to build a team from the ground up,” said Hignett. “I believe in building a well-respected team and am excited to be working with NSM and being part of the framework and challenge of starting our newest location in Barrie.”

NSM now has 25 locations in Canada and more than 190 locations throughout North America.
