Cure SMA Announces Summit of Strength Dates

Cure SMA has announced the 2022 dates for its Summit of Strength community events.
The one-day educational programs “host a wide variety of experts who cover topics that are valuable to individuals of all ages and types of SMA [spinal muscular atrophy] and their caregivers,” the organization said in a July 8 bulletin.
Thanks to sponsorships from Biogen, Genentech, and Scholar Rock, Cure SMA Summit of Strength events include free registration, plus free breakfast, lunch, and parking for attendees.
The 2022 dates and locations are as follows:
July 23: Boston
July 30: Minneapolis
Aug. 6: New York City
Aug. 13: Philadelphia
Aug. 20: Austin, Texas
Sept. 10: San Francisco
Sept. 24: Baltimore
Oct. 15: Chicago
Oct. 22: Phoenix, Ariz.
Oct. 29: Hartford, Conn.
Nov. 5: Miami
Nov. 19: Anaheim, Calif.
Dec. 3: New Orleans
Dec. 10: San Antonio, Texas
The Summit of Strength program has hosted more than 3,000 attendees nationwide in its first four years. The events are designed to apply to “people of all ages and types of SMA,” as well as their caregivers. The educational program focuses on latest treatment options, SMA care, advocacy, and support.
