Motion Rehab Expo Series Announces Its Return to Ontario & British Columbia

After a hiatus caused by the COVID-10 pandemic, Motion (formerly Motion Specialties) is bringing its education and networking events back to Ontario and British Columbia.

In a Sept. 16 news, announcement, the Canadian provider said the Motion Rehab Expo series will visit Toronto on Sept. 22. Then the expo will be in Victoria, B.C., on Sept. 27; Nanaimo, B.C., on Sept. 29; Coquitlam, B.C., on Oct. 4; Kelowna, B.C., on Oct. 6; Thunder Bay, Ont., on Oct. 13; Sudbury, Ont., on Nov. 8; and London, Ont., on Nov. 15.

Each day-long event features 15-minute presentations from seating and wheeled mobility equipment and accessibility manufacturers; the opportunity to test products; an IACET-recognized CEU presentation on preventing and managing pressure injuries by Linda Norton, Motion’s Director of Learning and Clinical Education; and complimentary lunch and refreshments.

Registration is free, and Motion is inviting therapists, funding partners and community partners to attend.

Participating manufacturers include Amylior, Arjo Canada Inc., Blake Medical, Broda, Can-Dan Rehatec Ltd., Cheelcare, Drive Medical, EasyStand, Future Mobility Healthcare Inc., Golden Technologies, Harmony Products Inc., Joerns, Ki Mobility, Motion Composites, Motion Concepts, Nighthawk Manufacturing Inc./Artisan of Canada, PDG Mobility, Permobil, Power Plus Mobility, Pride Mobility/ Quantum Rehab, PRM Rehab, R&M Health Care, Stander Inc., Sunrise Medical Canada, Travel Buggy, Trivel, and Westech Health Care Ltd.

Motion’s Rehab Expo also took place in four additional locations in the spring, and Motion said in the news announcement that it “also looks forward to hosting Motion Rehab Expo events throughout Saskatchewan for the first time in spring 2023.”
