VGM Canada Names HME Woman of the Year Finalists

VGM Canada has announced its three finalists for the inaugural Canadian HME Woman of the Year award.

In a Sept. 23 news release, VGM Canada said the three finalists, selected from “a deep pool of nominees,” are Michelle Harvey, VP of Sales & Products for HME Home Health in Richmond, B.C.; Allison Seiderer, President/CEO for Living Well Home Medical Equipment in Peterborough, Ont.; and Cindy Wickens, Sales Manager for XPerience Home Healthcare in Windsor, Ont.

Finalists were chosen by the Canadian HME Woman of the Year selection committee: Dominique Sedlezky, Senior Director of Operations & Funding at Sunrise Medical Canada Inc.; Evan Kellett, President of the BC Home Medical Equipment Providers Association; Richard Fendert, manager of Home Health Care for Lawtons Drug Stores; and Rick Synkowicz, CEO of Human Care Canada Inc.

The 2022 Canadian HME Woman of the Year will be announced on Thurs., Oct. 20, at the Canadian Seating & Mobility Conference in Toronto.

Dave Davies, President of VGM Canada, said in the announcement, “We are incredibly excited to present the first Canadian HME Woman of the Year award to one of these outstanding finalists. We are honored to be able to bring this prestigious award to the HME and mobility providers in Canada. Each of these women has made an impact to her community, company, and the industry. Congratulations to this year’s finalists!”

VGM is currently accepting nominations for its HME Woman of the Year awards program for the United States.
