Last Chance for a Team Gleason License Plate
The auction for a Team Gleason license plate ends Fri., April 28, at 12 noon Central. License plate purchases will benefit the Team Gleason Foundation, founded by former New Orleans Saints hero Steve Gleason, later diagnosed with ALS. Winners must have vehicles licensed in the state of Louisiana. Team Gleason supports people and families living with ALS, as well as assistive technology development and provision.
Miller’s Hires Cleveland Client Care Specialist
Miller’s has welcomed Larisa Green as a Client Care Specialist in service and repair for Cleveland. “She will work closely with our clients and referrals, scheduling wheelchair repairs,” Miller’s said in a social media post. “Her addition to the team will help us speed up our response times.”
Kids Mobility Network to Hold Golf Tourney in September
Kids Mobility Network’s 2023 golf tournament takes place Sept. 11 at Plum Creek Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colo. The event features a shotgun start and 18 holes of play, followed by lunch. Auction items are also available as part of the tournament.
Last year’s event raised more than $60,000 in sponsorships, donations, and registration fees, with the funds going to serve children with disabilities. Kids Mobility Network, a 501(c)3 non-profit, collects, reconditions, and provides durable medical equipment to children with disabilities with mobility needs.
