ATG Rehab Acquires Rehab Division from Medical Specialty Supply

December 3, 2012 by Laurie Watanabe

ATG Rehab has acquired the complex rehab technology business division of Medical Specialty Supply, based in Oklahoma City, Okla.

In a news announcement, ATG said it would “relocate and expand” its current Oklahoma City office “to a much larger, 5,000 square-foot facility in the Oklahoma City region that will maintain and control all operations for the state in the next few months.”

Medical Specialty Supply provides customized seating, positioning and mobility equipment, in addition to diabetic shoes, mattresses and other DME.

“ATG Rehab’s purchase of Medical Specialty Supply adds tremendous depth to our Oklahoma City operation while strengthening our services in Tulsa, Lawton, and other parts of the state,” ATG Rehab’s Mountain Region President, Michele Longo, said in response to the acquisition. “We’re delighted to welcome the entire Medical Specialty team to the ATG family and look forward to offering their customers and clinicians the technological advancements we offer in expedited transactional processing and enhanced communication.”
