ATG Rehab has acquired Wheelchair Works, a rehab provider based in Bellevue, Wash.
Said ATG’s Northwest Region President Jerry Knight, “Our priority and focus has been and continues to be our customers, caregivers and clinicians. Wheelchairs Northwest shares our values and commitment to customer service and will be an excellent addition to the ATG Rehab family of companies.”
Wheelchairs Northwest is the fifth ATG property to serve the West Coast, from Southern California to the Canadian border.
Wheelchairs Northwest’s President, Wendell Matas, will join ATG’s senior management team. “We immediately identified and recognized the fit between our two companies, our mission, wonderful employees and philosophies with regard to customer care,” Matas said.
Wheelchairs Northwest will now adopt ATG Rehab’s name; last week, all of ATG’s office began officially using the ATG Rehab corporate name, a move meant to streamline communications and operations, while also capitalizing on ATG’s well-known rehab reputation.
