Sara Bauer has been promoted to VP of education for The VGM Group.
Bauer has developed training programs for VGM employees and educational offerings for VGM members and participating vendors. Bauer, who began with VGM in 1998 and has worked in VGM’s HOMELINK managed care division, is a member of the American Society for Training & Development, an association committed to workplace learning.
Among VGM Education’s major efforts is the annual Heartland Conference in VGM’s hometown of Waterloo, Iowa, which draws 1,000 participants every June. This year’s tracks include rehab, reimbursement, regulatory/competitive bidding, executive, operations and sales & marketing.
