Invacare Corp. President/Chief Operating Officer Gerald Blouch will become the HME manufacturer’s interim chief financial officer when CFO Greg Thompson departs Invacare this month.
In a news release, Invacare Chairman/CEO A. Malachi Mixon said, “We wish Greg well and thank him for his contributions to the success of our company. We are sure he will be successful in his new endeavor.”
The interim appointment will be familiar territory for Blouch, who previously served as Invacare’s CFO when he joined the company in 1990. At press time, Invacare was in the process of finding a replacement for Thompson.
