ROHO Celebrates Golden Anniversary
Happy 50th birthday to ROHO, whose “dry floatation” technology was created by Robert H. Graebe in 1973.
The milestone was celebrated at the ROHO facility in Belleville, Ill., on Sept. 23. According to Permobil, who acquired ROHO in 2015, the event included factory tours, music, children’s activities, food, and prize giveaways. Original ROHO memorabilia was on display, and Permobil Foundation Executive Director Ashley Davis presented a guest with a new TiLite wheelchair.
United Spinal’s Vincenzo Piscopo Discusses Gym Equity
The latest blog post from United Spinal Association’s President/CEO, Vincenzo Piscopo, is now available… and he’s taking on the problem of unequal gym access for wheelchair riders.
“What awaits us once we reach the gym?” Piscopo said. “For wheelchair users, a new level of frustration lurks behind its doors, and that is where I become judgmental.”
