ISS, Abilities Expo to Partner on Professional Educational Content

The International Seating Symposium (ISS), produced by the University of Pittsburgh’s Rehabilitation Science and Technology Continuing Education (RSTCE) program, is partnering with the Abilities Expo to provide educational content for seating and wheeled mobility professionals starting in 2026.

As announced at the 39th ISS in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on March 20, the ISS will provide CEU content at the Abilities Expo’s Los Angeles area, New York Metro, and Chicago events beginning next year.

The Abilities Expo is a show series for children and adults living with a wide range of disabilities, as well as for their families and caregivers. The next 2025 Abilities Expo is scheduled for May 2-4 in Edison, New Jersey.

The 2026 Los Angeles area Abilities Expo — the first one included in the new educational partnership — is scheduled for March 27-29 at the Long Beach Convention Center. The Abilities Expo is owned by Raccoon Media Group.
