Briefly: Dancing in Dallas in December; Miller’s Grows Its Documentation Team
Featuring the Abilities Expo and Miller’s.

November 6, 2023 by Laurie Watanabe

The Abilities Expo Announces 2024 Dates

The final 2023 Abilities Expo is scheduled to take place in Dallas, Dec. 1-3… but the consumer show series already has a busy 2024 schedule in the works.

The first 2024 event is scheduled for Los Angeles, March 15-17. That will be followed by the New York Metro expo (May 3-5), then Chicago (June 21-23), Houston (Aug. 2-4), Phoenix (Sept. 6-8), and Fort Lauderdale (Oct. 18-20).

Abilities Expos are free to attend and combine an expo hall with seminars and demonstrations for people and families living with disabilities. Fan-favorite demos include wheelchair dancing and indoor rock climbing.

Miller’s Welcome’s Brianna Hawley

Miller’s has added Brianna Hawley to its Rehab Documentation team in Akron, Ohio. Per a social media post, Hawley “will work to obtain documentation to assist with insurance approval for our clients’ specialty mobility equipment.”

As a Registered Behavior Technician, Hawley has worked with children with disabilities, and is now “so excited” to be on the Miller’s team.
