CRT Legislative Fly-In Set for September

A Complex Rehab Technology (CRT)-focused legislative fly-in has been scheduled for Sept. 16-17 in Washington, D.C.

The National Coalition for Rehab & Assistive Technology (NCART) announced the dates in an April 16 bulletin to stakeholders and noted that additional information on the event would be released soon.

The fly-in is being cohosted by NCART, the International Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (iNRRTS), and U.S. Rehab.


RESNA Seeks Members for Adaptive Golf Car AT Standards Committee

The Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) is recruiting members for its “newly revived” AT standards committee on adaptive golf cars.

“This committee develops standards dedicated to accessible and adaptive technology related to golf,” RESNA said in an April 16 announcement. “The standards developed within this committee include requirements and test methods for golf cars, maximum acceleration, static and dynamic stability, brake systems, safety guidance for golf course operators, and safety and performance specifications.”
