Etac Announces R82 Discontinuations for January 2025
Etac has announced products it will be discontinuing as of Jan. 1, 2025.
In a Sept. 20 bulletin, Etac said it will stop offering the Orca bathtub; the Penguin bathtub positioning system; the Cricket manual wheelchair; the stroller-style Stingray manual wheelchair; and the Scallop seating system.
Etac will stop taking new quotes for the Orca, Penguin, Cricket, and Scallop as of Oct. 14. The manufacturer will stop taking new Stingray quotes as of Nov. 14. Etac will stop accepting new orders for the four products on Jan. 1, 2025.
“We made this decision to better align with evolving customer needs, market dynamics and to make room for more innovative solutions within a more focused product offering,” Etac said in the announcement. “While these products will no longer be available, rest assured that we will continue to support any outstanding orders and service needs.”
