Featuring Ki Mobility and the International Seating Symposium.

July 24, 2024 by Laurie Watanabe

Ki Mobility Updates Color Options for Manual Wheelchairs

Ki Mobility has “refreshed” its series of color options for its manual wheelchairs. In a July 15 announcement, Ki Mobility described the new colors as “ultra-durable,” diverse and sophisticated “to suit all tastes.”

For a limited time, the manufacturer is offering to add an optional accent color to select parts of the wheelchair at no additional cost. The accent options vary by model.

New colors include tactical green, purple plum, dry earth tan, electric green, radiant orange, glacier blue, and opalescent violet.

ISS 2025 Call for Abstracts Now Open

The call for abstracts for the 2025 International Seating Symposium (ISS) is now open, with proposals due by Aug. 28.

Presentation types include poster, paper (15 minutes), short course (30 minutes), instructional course (60 minutes), and interactive course (90 minutes). Presentations are required to follow continuing education unit guidelines; product pitches or presentations “that bias particular brands, manufacturers, or other entities” will be declined.

Check the abstract submission guidelines for more information. The 2025 ISS takes place March 20-22 in Pittsburgh, with pre-symposium workshops on March 18-19.
