Miller’s Is Hiring an HR Manager

Miller’s is looking for a Human Resources Manager.

In a social media post on X, @Johnny_Millers said, “We are seeking a high-energy and caring person to lead Miller’s Human Resources department. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks, including interviewing/recruiting, employee benefit management, policy design and implementation, enhance employee engagement, and perform other human resource functions.”

Research: Obesity Affects Progression of MS

Being clinically obese — but not merely being overweight — has been tied to a quicker progression of multiple sclerosis disability, according to researchers at the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden.

Lars Alfredsson, Ph.D., a professor at the Karolinska Institutet, presented a report at the European and American Committees for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis, Oct. 11-13 in Milan. The presentation was called, “Obesity negatively affects disease progression, cognitive functioning, and quality of life in people with multiple sclerosis.”
