VGM Presents 2023 HME Woman of the Year Award

The VGM Group has named Dana McLaughlin its 2023 HME Woman of the Year. McLaughlin, the President of Medical Service Company, has 28 years of financial and operational leadership experience in the home healthcare industry.
“I am truly honored to receive the 2023 HME Woman of the Year Award,” McLaughlin said in a Dec. 21 announcement. “Whether you work directly with patients or not, what we as HME professionals do matters. I am humbled to be recognized alongside such inspiring industry leaders.”
Finalists for the 2023 award were Deb Holman, Chief Compliance Officer, Hart Medical; Jami Tharp, Office Manager, Senior Billing Specialist and Human Resource Manager, Choice Medical; and Heather Yi, Vice President, Customer Success, Brightree.
Medical Service Company, headquartered in Cleveland, has offices in Indiana, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The company, led by Chairman Joel Marx and CEO Josh Marx, specializes in chronic-respiratory disease management and also provides durable medical equipment.
CGS Updates Supplier Manuals for Jurisdictions B & C
CGS Administrators, Medicare’s DME MAC for Jurisdictions B and C, has released its 2024 Supplier Manuals, winter editions. In a January bulletin, CGS noted the Supplier Manuals, updated quarterly, are “designed to provide vital, current DME MAC information.”
