Bruno Introduces Redesigned Curb-Sider

February 23, 2007 by Mobility Management

Bruno Independent Living Aids has redesigned the Curb-Sider Interior Vehicle Lift. The new design, with Direct Gear Drive Technology, eliminates chains in the drive package for maintenance-free operation.

“Our dealers absolutely love the redesigned Curb-Sider because of universal modularity, shipping fully assembled and pre-wired, and our industry exclusive Direct Gear Drive Technology that provides virtually maintenance-free operation,” says Andrew Bayer, product manager, Automotive Division.

Several engineering refinements are intended to help Bruno increase its market share. Those refinements include automotive styling with color-keyed shrouding that allows the lift to blend into the vehicle’s interior; a small footprint for extra passenger and cargo room; and a fold-down lift arm for partial third-row seating and an unobstructed rear view when a mobility device is not present. The Curb-Sider retains its popular modularity.

Bruno is also introducing a new Adjustable Sub Base that is interchangeable between the driver and passenger side.
