The Cerebral Palsy Foundation has updated its list of research and clinical trials that are seeking participants.
In a Nov. 23 announcement, the organization listed the following new interventional studies:
— Promoting Upright Mobility in Infants with CP Using a Robotic Unweighting System (infants 5 months to 18 months).
— A Novel Program Using Ride-on Toys to Improve Upper-Extremity Function in Children with Hemiplegia (children from 3 to 8 years old).
— Whole Body Vibration and Serial Casting for Children with CP (children 3 to 17 years old).
— Neuromodulation of the Cortex and Spinal Cord (children and adults from 11 through 45 years old).
The foundation also listed the following new observation study:
— A Multicenter Pediatric Deep Brain Stimulation Registry (infants and children from birth to 18 years old).
