CRT Funding Webinar Scheduled for Jan. 14

January 5, 2016 by Mobility Management

The last few weeks of 2015 were brimming with policy changes impacting complex rehab technology (CRT) and DME. With the new year began a new list of allowables for accessories used on CRT manual wheelchairs. And in the waning days of 2015, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) published its final rule for prior authorization for certain DME items, including mattresses, hospital beds and manual and power wheelchairs.

Mobility Management’s Jan. 14 Webinar called “Ringing in a Funding New Year” will get you up to date on these new policies plus others, such as Medicare’s competitive bidding expansion and rural beneficiaries; CMS’s plans for the miscellaneous K0108 and E1399 HCPCS codes; the timeline for CMS’s power mobility device demonstration project; and the ICD-10 transition.

For an $89 registration, attendees receive access to the live Webinar, presented by Jim Stephenson, CMC, rehab reimbursement and coding manager of Invacare Corp. The Webinar will include a live question-and-answer session with Stephenson.

Registrants also receive three months of access to an archived version of the Webinar, which can be viewed 24/7.
