Amara

By Mobility Management | May 1, 2017

The Amara Therapeutic Wheelchair Back
System is designed to improve comfort and
support by eliminating the hammock effect
of standard wheelchair backs. Amara backs
were created to maintain spinal and shoulder
alignment and to provide superior pressure
redistribution. They’re available in three
configurations: fixed back, adjustable back,
or dual-zone back. The fixed and adjustable
backs are made of high-density Medflex
foam, while the dual-zone back has a combination
of Medflex and Viscotec memory form
for added comfort. All Amara backs have
Vyvex-III non-shear covers. The backs are
coded E2611-2612.
