Apple fans — and their ATPs — rejoice! Curtiss-Wright has a new Bluetooth Module for iDevices to enable power wheelchair users to control iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch products via their PG Drives R-net electronics. The new module works with all existing R-net modules, without requiring firmware upgrades. And it can be operated via any R-net input device, including hand-, finger- and chin-operated joysticks and the Omni specialty control interface. There’s good news regarding non-Apple products, as well: Use the new module in tandem with existing R-net modules to create a singular system for Apple products, Android devices and Windows-based computers.
