Diego Pediatric Seating
The Diego system was inspired by the everchanging complex rehab industry and the need for pediatric seating system designed for that market. Through the years, Stealth Products has determined that the pediatric end user needs a modular growth seating system. The manufacturer began to look into how it could incorporate sound positioning features into a next-generation seating system that was not just a scaled-down version of an adult seat, but one designed specifically for a smaller user. Those are the advantages and benefits of Diego.
Inspired by Drive
Available in three colors and two sizes, the Miko Tilt-in-Space mobility base is a positioning support system designed for children with limited mobility. The base provides tilt-in-space pressure relief that shifts pressure away from posterior locations; Quick-Lok reversible seat positioning to allow the seat to be moved from a forward to a backward position; adjustable postural support for added comfort; adjustable and removable armrests; and transit brackets for safe transport. Optional accessories include all-terrain rear wheel, oxygen tank holder, canopy, molded tray and Poziform belts and harnesses. Seating system sold separately.
Balance shoulder retraction with sternal support and safety via the PivotFit shoulder harness. Available in sizes to fit kids through adults, the PivotFit’s shape contours to the shoulders and ribcage for a supportive, comfortable fit. Pressure is distributed across a 25-percent greater surface area than a traditional H-style harness. The sternum strap’s low placement reduces choking risk and is easy to adjust to accommodate clothing changes while providing a snug fit. The strong, patented swivel buckle equalizes tension without bunching, allowing pads to pivot to the best placement for the user’s body shape and comfort.

Custom Back Support
The Micro-Modular Seating insert allows clinicians to make unlimited adjustments after the shape has been formed, without using a heat gun. The unique, removable shell and see-through insert design enable confirmation of contact between the client and the back. Proprietary open-cell foam is soft to the touch, but maintains appropriate positioning, breathability and pressure relief. Breathable custom covers maximize heat and moisture reduction. Lightweight, fully adjustable mounting hardware has a quick-release design. Coded E2617.
Inspired by Drive
A multi-adjustable pediatric activity chair with tilt and recline, the Tusky combines moderate postural support with variable tilt-in-space functions. Tusky can be used in the classroom or at home for eating, learning and socializing. It comes standard with a pelvic belt, adjustable zippered chest harness, adductors, lateral thoracic supports, headrest and adjustable footrest.
With a mid-wheel-drive configuration, a turning radius of 20" and a width of just 23.25", the ROVI X3 power base offers great maneuverability in tight spaces. New highspeed motors increase the X3’s top speed to 6.2 mph and offer faster acceleration. An Active Ride Control independent suspension system and powerful 4-pole motors work together to provide superior climbing ability and uncompromised stability with a smooth, powerful ride. The new OnTraxx Enhanced Driving Module enhances drive response and directional control for the driver when going over uneven or sloping terrain.
Stimulite Contoured Cushion
Designed to provide positioning as well as comfort, the Stimulite Contoured Pediatric cushion has a soft top layer fused to a firmer bottom layer of flexible Stimulite honeycomb. Adductors, abductors and an ischial dish comfortably position the child, while the soft honeycomb cells hold the child securely in place. By providing optimal pressure relief, stability, shear force reduction and ventilation, the cushion helps to protect against pressure injuries. At 2.5" thick and weighing 1 to 2 lbs., the cushion is suitable for all activities and is naturally antibacterial.

Ideal for pediatric users at moderate to high risk for skin breakdown, the Invacare Matrx Kid*ab*ra Vi wheelchair seat cushion was designed with dual-density, high-resiliency foam with a viscoelastic insert for comfort and support. The moisture-resistant, breathable cover protects the foam and can be easily wiped clean — important for busy families on the go.

i-Drive Control System
Designed around a proprietary Central Processing Unit and Advanced Programming Software, i-Drive’s combination of hardware and software brings state-of-the-art technology to the alternative drive control segment. Real-time feedback provides smoother control and improved driving efficiency to build confidence, even in new drivers or those with limited functional ability. Interaction between driver and system occurs in real time thanks to the i-Drive CPU, which works at a frequency of 150 kHz. Add Stealth’s positioning components to build the optimal seating and driving system for each pediatric client.

I like the new Stealth i-Drive specialty control module. It is basically a newer type of electronic interface device that allows you to set up, connect and program specialty drive and switch controls on complex, high-end power wheelchairs for people that lack the ability to drive with a traditional hand control joystick set-up.
With this new technology, the users can access input devices that will allow them to drive and use power seating functions through alternative switch access. We have been using a lot of knee abductor-mounted switches for our ALS [clients] and have had some successful outcomes.
