Dynamic Healthcare Buys Reliable Medical

February 26, 2014 by Laurie Watanabe

Dynamic Healthcare Services has announced it’s purchased Reliable Medical, which serves the northern New Jersey and New York metropolitan areas.

Reliable Medical specializes in DME and respiratory products and services, including standing & walking aids, standard wheelchairs and bath safety and accessibility products. It was founded in 2004 by Deon DeFreitas and Jerry and Rob O’Connor, according to a Dynamic Healthcare announcement.

Michael Holloway, president of GMH Ventures — the parent company of Dynamic Healthcare — said of the acquisition, “Reliable’s presence in the northern New Jersey market and their Round 2 competitive bid contract in the southern New York metro CBA, combined with the northern New Jersey metro CBA contract that [Dynamic Healthcare Services] was already awarded, gives us an amazing advantage across the New York and New Jersey metro market.”

Holloway added that the Reliable Medical staff “has developed an impeccable reputation with their referral partners and customers. When you combine that with the support, infrastructure and guidance from both the Dynamic Healthcare Services and GMH teams, I am very confident about our growth and development in this market.”

GMH Ventures, which has purchased several DME businesses in the northeastern United States over the past few years, said it is seeking to acquire other DME companies located in the mid-Atlantic and northeast.
