Dynamic Healthcare Services Acquires Progressive HME

January 17, 2014 by Laurie Watanabe

Progressive Home Medical Equipment, headquartered in Clarion, Pa., has been acquired by Dynamic Healthcare Services (DHS), a portfolio company of GMH Ventures LLC.

Founded in 2005 by Eric and Bridget Dobrowski, Progressive Home Medical Equipment offers a wide range of DME in the sleep, mobility and respiratory markets. The company recently was awarded a respiratory products contract in the Medicare competitive bidding program’s round 1 recompete stage.

GMH Ventures President Michael Holloway said of the acquisition, “Progressive’s presence in the Pittsburgh and western Pennsylvania market immediately increases growth opportunities in the DME space and brand awareness for Dynamic Healthcare Services in these competitive locations. I know myself, Terry Luft and the rest of the DHS management team are extremely pleased to have Progressive join our DHS family of companies.”

Eric Dobrowski said in the news announcement, “I’m really looking forward to the growth potential we’ll see as part of DHS. We have been looking for a partner who could join with us to support our plans to expand offerings and services in our core Clarion and surrounding neighborhoods…. In fact, on our first day together, we were able to provide one of our local customers a product previously not available to us.”

GMH Ventures said it is “actively seeking” to acquire other DME companies located in the mid-Atlantic and northeastern parts of the United States.
