Dynarex Presents First Responder Caring Award at EMS Event
The mobility and DME manufacturer has presented the award for six years.

November 15, 2023 by Laurie Watanabe

Dynarex Corp. has presented its 2023 EMS First Responder Caring Award to Jamie Gray, Alabama State EMS Director.

Dynarex, who manufactures wheelchairs and other durable medical equipment, presented the award at the EMS (Emergency Medical Services) World Expo in New Orleans in October.

Gray served as a firefighter for nearly 25 years and is also a disaster medic with the National Disaster Medical System. He’s currently the chair of the South Region of the National Association of State EMS Officials.

Dynarex has presented its First Responder Caring Award for the last six years to honor an EMS professional or agency “that has demonstrated exceptional caring through community service actions and/or programs designed to improve the health and safety of the community they serve,” the manufacturer said in an Oct. 18 news announcement.

Dynarex Corporate Training & Events Director John Burns presented the award to Gray.

Zaiman Tenenbaum, Dynarex’s CEO, said, “As long-time supporters of the EMS community, we are proud to sponsor this prestigious award to honor and recognize the entire EMS profession — and all EMS professionals — who provide quality emergency patient care to their communities every day. We remain deeply committed to equipping these heroes with the tools they need to save lives and provide exceptional care.”
