Etac Launches Dual Rockers for R82 Meerkat Stander
The new feature provides a more dynamic experience for its clients.

R82 Meerkat pediatric stander with a blue base has rockers and arrow illustrations to show that the base moves in multiple directions.Etac’s R82 Meerkat dynamic stander is now available with forward/backward and sideways rockers.

In a December press release, Etac said, “This versatile standing frame is designed to support various standing therapies and provide unique movement options for young users.

The forward/backward rocker is now standard with the Meerkat base, while the lateral rocker is an option for sideways movement “for a more dynamic experience,” Etac added, “empowering users with a greater range of movement in all directions.”

The Meerkat’s center column can be positioned in front of or behind the child, “providing ample space for movement and exploration,” the manufacturer said. “One of the key benefits of the Meerkat is its modular design, allowing for quick and easy adjustments to meet the individual needs of each user.”

The stander is available in three sizes for to fit children approximately 27.5 inches (approximately 700 mm) to almost 71 inches (1800 mm) in height. The Meerkat has a user weight capacity of 198.4 lbs. (90 kg).
