Free VGM Webinar Examines Competitive Bidding Contracts

July 9, 2010 by Laurie Watanabe

A new VGM Group Webinar available today discusses the competitive bidding contracts newly offered to winning DME suppliers in Medicare’s rebid of Round 1.

Presented by VGM’s VP of Government Relations John Gallagher and Regulatory Analyst Alan Morris, the on-demand Webinar will examine a range of related topics, including:

  • Understanding contractual obligations (including covering the entire competitive bidding area, acceptance of referrals, service capacities and supplying entire product categories)
  • Assessing the value of the contract
  • The value of the contract to the supplier
  • What happens if the supplier declines the contract

The Webinar is structured to apply as a resource to both winners and non-winners of contract offers.

By registering for an upcoming VGM National Competitive Bidding Services seminar called “Contracting Time Is Here! Do You Know Your Game Plan?”, participants will be given early access to a “comprehensive financial contract evaluation toolkit that providers may use to evaluate how the contract will affect their company’s bottom line,” according to a VGM news release.

To view the free Webinar, which is approximately 35 minutes long, go to vgm.com. To sign up for the seminar, go to vgmncbservices.com.
