Graham-Field, National Seating & Mobility Reach Buying Agreement

February 13, 2008 by Mobility Management

Graham-Field Health Products and National Seating & Mobility (NSM) have reached a buying agreement for mobility equipment, the manufacturer/distributor announced on Feb. 1.

According to a press statement, Graham-Field, headquartered in Atlanta, will sell “mobility aids, bathroom safety devices and other Graham-Field brand products” to NSM, the rehab technology supplier with more than 60 offices nationwide. NSM is based in Franklin, Tenn.
“Teaming with NSM advances the growth of our brand identity at the clinical level,” said Allison Stackpole, director of homecare business development, in the statement that announced the purchasing deal. “ Graham-Field’s attention to quality and safety features is stronger than ever.” Graham-Field’s brands include Lumex (bath safety, beds, pressure management, walking aids), Everest & Jennings (manual and power chairs) and Grafco (personal care, orthopedic supplies).

Bill Noelting, chief information officer and VP of marketing for NSM, said the agreement included such equipment as transport chairs, rollators, crutches, walkers and canes. “We’re always trying to consolidate our purchases when possible,”Noelting said.
NSM specializes in supplying complex, customized rehab equipment to clients with such disabilities as cerebral palsy, spina bifida and muscular dystrophy.
