Harmar has opened an international sales office in the Netherlands and tapped Richard Koopmans as its managing director of Europe.
Conor Sullivan, the company’s international business manager, said in a news announcement that the manufacturer of environmental, home and automotive accessibility equipment “grew quickly, with a history as one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest-growing private companies in America. Now, with rapid sales growth overseas, we are structuring to better serve international customers.”
The office in the Netherlands will serve Harmar’s United Kingdom and European markets, Sullivan said. The office includes a product showroom, training areas and sales offices.
Harmar’s American office, based in Sarasota, Fla., continues to handle sales in the United States as well as Asia, eastern Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and South America.
