Interlock Receives Additional Patent

InterMotive, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of vehicle control systems for transit, paratransit and emergency response vehicles, has received an additional patent on its wheelchair lift interlock designs from the U.S. Patent office. The latest patent (U.S. 7,274, 980; Intelligent Lift Interlock System) enhances InterMotive’s technology using microprocessors for precise control and communication with various vehicle platforms to safely operate wheelchair lifts. InterMotive, Inc., is based out of Colfax, Calif.
