Invacare Acquires Bargmann Management

October 8, 2008 by Mobility Management

Invacare Corp. has acquired Bargmann Management LLC based in Akron, Ohio.
Bargmann Management was founded by Lisa Bargmann, its president/CEO, in 2003.

As a result of the acquisition, Bargmann Management has been rebranded as Invacare HCS and has now become part of the manufacturer’s iPartner Solutions division, designed to support HME suppliers with day-to-day business operations.

Among Invacare HCS’ business segments are Billing & Collection Services, described as “an outsourcing agency for provider private-pay billing and collection services for the HME industry;” and Specialized Services, described as “consulting for HME business operations ranging from order intake through cash collection.” Bargmann also included a sleep disorders-related division.
“We are very excited to welcome Invacare HCS and its associates to the Invacare team,” says Chris Yessayan, vice president of iPartner Solutions. “They will be a strong addition to the Invacare iPartner Solutions portfolio. Our goal is to help providers become efficient and increase their bottom line. These consulting and revenue generating services will do just that.”

Invacare, based in Elyria, Ohio, launched the iPartner Solutions division in May, calling it “a growing suite of programs and services designed to simplify business for home medical equipment providers, reduce their costs, optimize their resources and improve their bottom line.” Other members of iPartner Solutions are Roadrunner Mobility, which specializes in service and repair of consumer power mobility vehicles, and Bonafide Management System, software to help providers operate more efficiently. iPartner Solutions also includes aftermarket replacement parts for a variety of HME.
