Invacare Corp. has acquired Roadrunner Mobility, Inc., an independent power wheelchair/scooter service company headquartered in Richardson, Texas.
In 2006, Roadrunner partnered with Invacare to run the manufacturer’s Five-Star Service program for consumer power wheelchairs and POVs. Invacare dealers who subscribed to Five-Star Service could turn over service tasks to Roadrunner.Established in 1993, Roadrunner Mobility, which has offices nationwide, says power wheelchair and scooter service is its “only business.” Invacare Corp. is based in Elyria, Ohio.
