Invacare Launches Power Standing System for AVIVA FX Line

November 12, 2020 by Laurie Watanabe

Invacare Corp. has introduced a power standing system for its AVIVA FX line of front-wheel-drive power wheelchairs.

The MPS Maxx Multi-Position Power Standing System is available through Motion Concepts, a division of Invacare that focuses on complex seating and positioning applications.

The AVIVA FX power chair line launched in February.

“The MPS Maxx features our unique standing technology on a front-wheel-drive platform to complement our existing center-wheel-drive chair,” said Joost Beltman, Senior VP/GM North America. “Together, the AVIVA FX with the MPS Maxx Multi-Position Power Standing System is an innovative, highly adjustable system incorporating power standing and offers a unique combination of independence, functionality and accessibility.”

The MPS Maxx system offers 45 degrees of CG tilt, 170 degrees of recline/Extended Shear Reduction (ESR), 178-degree open-angle power standing, and 7 inches of seat elevation with a Power Articulating Belt Drive Center Mount Foot Platform.

Motion Concepts’ MPS Maxx Modular Power Standing System is also available for the ROVI A3 power wheelchair and is available in a version for pediatric power chair users. For more information, visit Motion Concepts.
