Dave Mewes is the new chief information officer (CIO) at Invacare Corp., the Elyria, Ohio-based manufacturer has announced.
An Invacare statement said Mewes would be “responsible globally for providing vision and leadership to develop, maintain and utilize information technology resources to support Invacare. His initial focus will be in North America.”
Invacare CFO Greg Thompson said of Mewes, “His expertise will allow us to streamline our internal operational and informational processes. He will also ensure that we are taking full advantage of the ERP system we implemented in late 2005.”
