Invacare & VGM Sign Multi-Year Agreement

May 29, 2014 by Laurie Watanabe

Invacare Corp. and VGM Group have signed a new multi-year agreement, the companies announced in a joint statement.

The Elyria, Ohio-based manufacturer of complex rehab technology (CRT) and DME, and the Waterloo, Iowa-based member services organization have been partners for some time. At Medtrade Spring in 2007, they announced they were joining forces to help support independent CRT and DME suppliers.

“We are excited to continue one of the great partnerships in our industry,” said Invacare Chairman of the Board Mal Mixon. “Supporting providers has always been a top priority for Invacare, and with the challenges that continue to face the home medical equipment industry, fighting for the rights of independent providers and the beneficiaries they serve is as important as it’s ever been.”

Van Miller, CEO of VGM Group, said of the new agreement, “Our long-standing partnership with Invacare is based on our mutual interest in supporting both the industry and the independent HME providers. Working together makes us stronger and more effective.”
