ISS 2020 Now Accepting Abstracts

March 27, 2019 by Laurie Watanabe

It’s time to submit your educational abstracts for the 2020 International Seating Symposium (ISS), to take place March 3-6 in Vancouver, B.C.

Co-presented by Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children and the University of British Columbia’s Interprofessional Continuing Education, the ISS will once again take place at the Westin Bayshore.

Abstracts can be submitted by clicking HERE. The deadline for abstracts is May 14, 2019.

The 2020 event will be the 36th annual edition of the ISS. Its theme is “Across the Lifespan.”

ISS 2020 will include a “Consumer Day” on Tues., March 3; the public can view the exhibit hall free of charge that day. Consumers can also pay a “nominal fee” to view the exhibit hall on March 4-5, according to an ISS news announcement.

Last week’s ISS, which took place in Pittsburgh, drew approximately 2,200 attendees from 37 countries.

The ISS is held in the United States, where it is hosted by the University of Pittsburgh’s Rehabilitation Science & Technology’s Continuing Education program, in odd-numbered years. Sunny Hill Health Centre and the University of British Columbia host the event in Canada in even-numbered years.
