Jill Alm Is New Bodypoint Channel Manager

September 21, 2010 by Laurie Watanabe

Jill Alm has joined Bodypoint as its new channel manager for the American market.

Bodypoint President David Hintzman said, “Jill will be an outstanding resource for our reps, dealers and buying groups. The addition of Jill’s position demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the U.S. market through customer support, training and education during a critical period in the history of rehab.”

Hintzman added that Alm will be working with independent reps, dealers and buying groups. “Bodypoint is deepening its commitment to reinforcing the concepts of seating that have suffered in this country as a result of cost-conservative policies,” he notes.

Alm will lead nationwide sales and support efforts and will report to Kathleen Higgs Simpson, Bodypoint’s director of sales.

Alm, who began her career as an exercise physiologist, has served in product and account management roles with Sunrise Medical and Adaptive Engineering Lab. Her most recent position was market development manager at Magic Wheels.

“I enjoy providing products that enhance self-expression and function for the individuals we serve,” Alm said. “The strength of Bodypoint is its commitment to improving the standards and designs of wheelchair postural supports and accessories.”
