Orbiter Med cushion
The Kalogon Launch Pad tool that enables providers to virtually configure the positioning manufacturer’s Bondar back support in real time can now also supply online configurations and quotes for Kalogon’s Orbiter Med wheelchair seat cushion.
In a July 7 announcement, Kalogon, based in Melbourne, Florida, said the new functionality provides real-time design updates as seating professionals change a range of Orbiter Med specifications, including pre-ischial ridges, lateral pelvic supports, medial thigh supports, lateral thigh supports, and leg-length discrepancies.
Providers will also now be able to request a combined quote for the Orbiter Med — HCPCS coded E2609 as a custom-fabricated wheelchair seat cushion — and the Bondar back.
And providers can save the quote details for their own records or to share with members of the seating team.
Launch Pad can be accessed via phone or desktop. Kalogon’s National Field Educator, Jon Raffii, ATP, led a July 13 webinar on configuring the Orbiter Med. That webinar is now available to view on demand.
