At Medtrade last fall in Atlanta, MABIS DMI launched its e-commerce Web site: www.mabisdmi.com. The site’s goal, according to MABIS DMI, is “making available over 2,000 products to customers via the Web.”
HME suppliers can set up wholesale accounts to buy in bulk; the site offers products ranging from mobility (walkers, wheelchairs, walking aids and transfer equipment) to bath safety equipment, ADLs and bed accessories such as rails and supports.
From the site, suppliers can designate multiple ship-to locations, manage their accounts and check order histories.
