Already planning to underwrite an industry fund-raising event at Medtrade in October, MK Battery has upped the ante by also pledging to match the first $50,000 in event sponsorships.
The Power for Funding fund-raiser will take place the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center, Atlanta. Proceeds from sponsorships and event ticket sales will benefit NCART, NRRTS and the American Association for Homecare.
An MK Battery announcement said the upcoming event “is sure to be the largest gathering of HME stakeholders ever to assemble in one room.”
MK Battery VP of business development Wayne Merdinger said, “This event is worthy of the additional financial commitment. We want to bring suppliers of all sizes into the fold to support our vital industry initiatives, and we hope that our example will spur others to step up and join us.”
