Mobility Management Launches Consumer-Targeted TheMobilityProject.com

March 19, 2012 by Mobility Management

Mobility Management has launched a Web site aimed at consumers who use seating, mobility and accessibility products, as well as their caregivers.

“TheMobilityProject.com is a natural progression in this environment, where the industry professional is so intimately involved day to day with the consumer,” said Karen Cavallo, group publisher of the HME Media Group, which includes Mobility Management. “TheMobilityProject.com is a community where end users and caregivers are empowered by information on governmental funding, the latest wheelchair technology and accessibility issues, whether they’re at home or traveling to a big city.”

Visitors to the site can browse stories by categories, such as Families & Kids, Seniors, Veterans, Accessibility & Travel, Advocacy & Consumer Rights, and The Enabled Life.

The site offers a range of resources, from news updates and new product write-ups to expert opinions and advice, clinical and research information, and an events calendar.

Voices of seating, mobility and accessibility experts will be an integral part of TheMobilityProject.com, and a free consumer e-newsletter is due to be rolled out later in the year.
