While wheelchair seating wisdom often emphasizes optimal positioning of the pelvis, an upcoming webinar sponsored by Stealth Products will discuss the importance of head positioning.

The Oct. 17 webinar — Head’s Up! Innovative Head Positioning Hacks for Wheelchair Users — will feature Filipe Monforte Correia, Stealth Products’ Latin America and Europe business development manager, and Bart Van Der Heyden, PT, clinical consultant and owner of Super Seating.

The webinar’s learning objectives include the following:

— Learn accessible, innovative head positioning strategies that can immediately improve client comfort and support in wheelchair riders’ everyday lives;

— Discover how proper head positioning can enhance posture, reduce strain and increase overall well-being during prolonged wheelchair use;

— Explore how different head positioning tools and techniques can be tailored to meet individual needs and achieve better customization and comfort.
