Motion Celebrates Its Clients & Services During “5 Days” Event

December 15, 2022 by Laurie Watanabe

Motion recently celebrated the clients it serves and the many services it provides to its communities during the Canadian provider’s 5 Days of Caring employee event.

Dec. 3’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities kicked off the festivities and served as a backdrop as Motion (formerly Motion Specialties) took time to recognize its own team as well as the many people they serve.

“Beginning in 2021, we recognized a unique opportunity to give thanks to our employees through our 5 Days of Caring event, while also honoring our clients as part of International Day of Persons with Disabilities,” said Motion’s CEO, Sue Gilpin, in a blog post. “While Motion employees demonstrate care, compassion, and empathy every day throughout the year, we may take for granted all that we do for our clients and the people who love and care for them — as it’s in our nature.”

On social media, Motion offices posted photos of employee get-togethers and celebrations, plus testimonials from clients… and a specially choreographed dance number from Motion’s Chatham, Ontario, team.

“This celebration allows us to pause and recognize with intention the truly wonderful clients we get the opportunity to work with and the amazing work we’re able to be part of,” Gilpin added. “Work that has a major impact on so many lives.”
