The 34th annual Ms. Wheelchair America pageant will take place in Little Rock, Ark., August 2.
Following last year’s example, this year’s pageant will be supplemented by a day-long mobility show, this time focusing on transportation. The keynote speaker, Judy Hoit, will be talking about the important role that public transportation plays in the lives of people with disabilities. Hoit is the president of Dreams, Inc., producer of the pageant and tradeshow.
Expected to participate are former Ms. Wheelchair America title holders and the reigning Ms. Wheelchair America, Kristen Connors (pictured).
