National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has welcomed two new hires to its executive team.
In a Jan. 4 news announcement, NSM introduced Mike Peters as the company’s Chief Revenue Cycle Officer. NSM said Peters will oversee funding, billing and collections, payer relations and payer operations.
Previously, Peters was Senior VP of Digital Patient Solutions and Partnerships for Lucira, a medical technology company that develops portable, advanced molecular diagnostic solutions. In that capacity, Peters “led the integration of Lucira Health to Pfizer,” the announcement said. “Peters also previously served at Enovis, an orthopedic medical device company, as the Executive Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management.”
Crispin Teufel, NSM’s CEO, said in the announcement, “Mike’s extensive experience and impressive track record of enhancing revenue cycle performance will be invaluable to our mission and future success. His leadership will also be critical in our efforts to advance appropriate payer reimbursement rates that will allow us to better serve our clients. We are excited to welcome him to the NSM team.”

Shayn Spingler Becomes NSM’s New CIO
In a Jan. 5 news announcement, NSM said Shayn Spingler had joined the company as NSM’s Chief Information Officer.
Spingler previously worked at Hill International, a global construction services company. As Hill International’s Senior Vice President of Global Information Technology, Spingler “provided operational and infrastructure leadership for a geographically diverse workforce, overseeing IT strategy, ERP solutions, security, help desk, support services, network and telephony,” the announcement said.
“We are pleased to welcome Shayn to the NSM team,” Teufel said. “Her proven experience in a wide range of technology roles teamed with a passion for serving others makes her uniquely equipped to develop our technology roadmap and team.”
NSM added that Spingler’s mergers and acquisition experience “along with her close collaboration on privacy compliance and audits, will align with NSM’s strategic vision for information technology.”
