The National Coalition for Assistive and Rehabilitation Technology (NCART) is accepting nominations for its board of directors through June 15.
“This year, we will be using an open nomination format, designed to strengthen both transparency and member engagement,” said NCART Director of Operations Debi Renehan. “Under this approach, current directors whose terms are expiring may choose to seek reelection, and eligible voting members are invited to submit nominations for consideration.”
Renehan added this process “allows us to retain valuable institutional knowledge and leadership experience, while also ensuring that all members have an opportunity to participate in shaping the future of the organization.”
Once the window for nominations closes, NCART’s nominating committee “will review submissions and present a ballot of candidates in accordance with our bylaws,” she said. “Voting will take place via email the week of June 22.”
NCART’s board directors “serve as stewards and strategic leaders responsible for advancing the organization’s mission and ensuring strong governance,” the organization said. “By serving on the board, directors commit to upholding these responsibilities and contributing to the organization’s success and integrity.”
