NCART Launches Medicaid Survey for CRT Providers

November 9, 2016 by Laurie Watanabe

NCART has launched a nationwide Medicaid survey for complex rehab technology (CRT) providers.

The goal, according to a Nov. 9 NCART bulletin, is to gather current Medicaid information to better shape the organization’s policy and advocacy efforts.

“Medicaid coverage and payment policies play a critical role in determining access to complex rehab technology, and we need current information to provide effective advocacy,” NCART Executive Director Don Clayback said in the letter to stakeholders. “The data collected will enable us to examine the status and trends within state Medicaid programs and identify where advocacy action may be required.”

“CRT Providers completing the survey will receive a complimentary copy of the final Survey Report for their time and efforts in participating,” Clayback added. “We anticipate the final report will be available in January.”

He encouraged providers from all areas of the United States to participate.
